These Garlic Butter Cheeseburger Rollups are a simple, comforting twist on classic cheeseburgers. They combine seasoned beef, melted cheddar and mozzarella, and soft pizza dough brushed with garlic butter. The result is a warm, cheesy roll that slices easily and works for dinner,
snacks, or party bites.Ingredients
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp onion powder
- Salt & pepper, to taste
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1 package refrigerated pizza dough
- 2 Tbsp butter, melted
- 1 clove garlic, minced (or use garlic powder)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) or according to your dough package.
- Cook the ground beef in a skillet until browned. Season with garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Drain excess grease.
- Roll out the pizza dough on a floured surface. Sprinkle cheddar evenly across the surface.
- Spoon the cooked beef over the cheddar, then sprinkle mozzarella on top.
- Roll the dough into a log, pinching the seam to seal.
- Brush the top with melted garlic butter.
- Place seam-side down on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Bake for 18–20 minutes, or until golden brown.
- Let rest for 5 minutes, then slice and serve hot.
Notes & Tips
- Use fresh garlic for stronger flavor.
While garlic powder works fine, freshly minced garlic in the butter gives a more aromatic and richer taste. - Don’t overfill the dough.
Too much beef or cheese can cause the roll to burst open while baking. A thin, even layer gives the best swirl. - Seal the edges well.
Pinching the seam tightly prevents cheese from leaking out during baking. - Let it rest before slicing.
This 5-minute wait time allows the cheese to settle and keeps the rollups from falling apart.
